Take a tour of the Maison du Bois et du Jouet and learn a little more about nature, and of course, about wood (life, development, varieties, particularities …) in a fun way. You will find many wooden toys from around the world. And, even if you are not looking for toys from the past, you will no doubt see objects that will play the role in your childhood & make you very happy!
It's your turn !
Special mention to the playroom of this beautiful place which should revive your inner child. In an era that constantly flirts with electronic toys, coming here to play with wooden games is almost a lesson in life! More than forty wooden games are accessible. In addition, the Maison has a superb boutique of items made in France.
Hiding trees… an arboretum
Outside there is an arboretum. It is an inventory of over 50 species of trees found on the Montagne Noire. On the site, there is also a motorhome parking area, a picnic area to relax, and fun routes (fairytale wood and wood of the fables from Jean de La Fontaine) for the most active. Whether you are a cicada or an ant, you will have to find what you are looking for!
