Gourjade park
Small paradise for leisure and fresh air., it is the green open-space of Castres. A large park(53ha), free of access,for leisures, sports and outside activities.
Be happy in the park
A lot of space, picnic- tables, games for children…It is ideal for families, a mini farm for children.It is the starting and arriving point of the “coche d’eau”, the boat which calmly goes on the river Agout.

Situated in Castres, this park is very useful for those who like physical exercises, near their house, in a nice space of nature.Footing or running,”marche nordique”or walking, biking are practised there. Health parcours around the golf are appreciated too.
Golf
In the middle of the park,a superb course of 9 holes; On this course planted with trees, dominated by an ancient water- tower, you will find some difficult greens.
A mini golf is on the site too.
Looking for the lost time
Come and see the CENAC, the Centre Archéologique de Castres.You will lean a bit more about the origin of our town and also about the History and Prehistory: an original and instructive discovery. Courses can be organized. Don’t hesitate to discover them.
