In a wild and mountainous landscape, you will discover a deep blue lake with pure water, where it is possible to swim. A little closer to the stars
Every year on the Friday nearest July 14, a large fireworks display takes place on the lake. Under the night skies, the bursts of fireworks fall like star dust, reflecting on the lake … The magic of the place reaches its climax. But this is not the only time. Whether with spring air, under a blazing sun, in snowy weather, or during the Indian summer, the colours of the Lac de Montagnès change with the seasons but the beauty of the place remains intact.
One night by the lake
To disconnect properly, what could be more pleasant than spending a few days not far from the Lac des Montagnès? In a chalet, in a motorhome, in gites or guesthouses, you have many possibilities to stay here. There is also a restaurant right next to the lake. If you miss the town, you can also descend into the valley to take a tour on the side of Mazamet and discover its shops, restaurants, markets, museums …

Swimming allowed all year round - supervised in July and August.
