Built during the XVIIth century, this mansion belonged to the Maréchal Jean-Louis de Ligonnier maternal grandfather.
He was born in Castres in 1680 but he leaved it in 1697 after the revocation of the Edict of Nante (1685). He spent his military career in the english army where he was made field marshall. He died in 1770, with full military honours.
Outstanding due to its caryatids bearing a Renaissance loggia enhanced with four inoic pillars, as well as its ramped, red-iron staircase.
