Castres Olympique

More than sport, a culture.

One upon a time in the west, or rather in the south-west, there was a rugby territory, Castres-Mazamet. Even if rugby was born on the land of King Charles III, people of the Tarn are doing pretty well with the oval ball.

Our territory has one club participating in the french Top 14, the Castres Olympique (CO), the colours of which are blue and white.

This club has been associated for more than 30 years with Monsieur Pierre Fabre, founder of the "Laboratories Pharmaceutiques Pierre Fabre" which employs more than 9 500 people throughout the world. After his death in 2013, the rugby stadium in Castres was renamed in his honour.

Pierre Fabre (1926-2013), it is above all victory and authenticity.

The rugby values - strength, courage, mutual assistance and team spirit - are the values that he promotes in his firm and his beloved club, to compete at the highest french and international levels.
