From the bastide of Saint Amans erected in the XIIIth Century the path goes towards the Black Mountain. The path passes near the Château de Soult-Berg and its magnificent park with multiple species. Then the route takes the forest track for a pleasant climb surrounded by chestnut and beech trees. At the bend of a track, you will see the forest glassworks of Peyremoutou. La Croix de la Roque offers the horizon towards the Hérault and the plain of Castres.
